Changing or canceling your reservation depends on the reservation you have made. If you have booked via our own website and with a flexible rate, you can cancel your stay free of charge up to 16:00 before the arrival date. However, this does not apply to non-refundable rates and bookings not made directly with the hotel. For the latter bookings, please contact the company where you made your reservation.
In many cases this can be done directly online, for example via booking.com. If the reservation was made through the hotel's website, please contact the hotel reception.
Up to two children free (ages 3 and under) for every two paying adults in existing bedding. Meal charges may apply.
If you have booked a non-refundable rate, payment is required immediately, in which case the hotel will require payment to be made by credit card. In exceptional cases, bank transfers can also be accepted. We also accept bank cards. We accept cash, exact amounts only.
If a payment or pre-authorization is made by a third party during the reservation process and/or the name of the credit card holder is different from the name of the booker and/or guests, the hotel will probably ask for a scanned copy of the card holder's ID and a signed letter of authorization from the card holder giving his/her agreement to the use of the credit card for the reservation.
If a third party wishes to pay for the reservation on arrival, this is not a problem.
Tourist tax is a municipal tax for paid accommodations in Amstelveen. The city council of Amstelveen requires every tourist to pay €3 per person, per night tourist tax for accommodation in order to improve the city and its facilities.
Check-in is possible from 14:00.

Several public parking spaces are available in the vicinity of the hotel. You can park for free in our car park outside the hotel. Alternatively, you can use our own parking garage for € 9.50 per day. When you book a Superior Double Room, Junior Suite or Suite, you can park for free in our garage. Please contact us in advance if you wish to reserve a parking space.
EV charging point: To make your stay as pleasant as possible, Best Western Plus Amstelveen offers you the option of using charging points to charge your electric or plug-in hybrid car.
During your stay
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our hotel. If you have a guide dog for the blind, please contact us in advance.
Best Western Plus Amstelveen is a 100% non-smoking hotel. It is strictly forbidden to smoke anywhere in the hotel facilities or outside your hotel room window. A fine of EUR 250 will be charged if we suspect or find our guests tampering with fire and safety equipment or if they smoke anywhere in the hotel. The use of recreational drugs is also not allowed.
There is a permitted smoking area outside the hotel.
Our disabled room is equipped with extra facilities such as a spacious adapted bathroom and an alarm system to offer you a carefree stay in our hotel.
The hotel has an attractive restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant serves simple yet delicious contemporary dishes. We also provide catering in our separate meeting and dining room. In addition, you can choose to visit our mini market.

Best Western Plus Amstelveen offers you the opportunity to use our fitness room. The fitness room is equipped with several cardio machines to keep you fit. The use of the fitness room is completely free of charge.

A late check out is possible based on availability. There are additional costs associated with this.
An earlier departure is not a problem. The cancellation conditions then apply.
With a flexible rate, you may cancel the booking until 4:00 PM on the day of arrival.
With a non-refundable rate, 100% of the accommodation costs will be charged on the day of booking. Should there be a cancellation or no-show, there will be no refund. The amount will be debited in advance for the total stay. Changing dates is also not possible.
